The Seven Deadly Sins

More than forty years after being created by Pina Bausch and ten years after her death, two ballets by the German dancer are performed at the Théâtre du Châtelet. Historical and younger dancers, all from Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch, give a powerful interpretation of “The Seven Deadly Sins” and her suite “Fürchtet euch nicht”, accompanied by texts by Bertolt Brecht and music by Kurt Weill, all against a background of feminist struggle.
